Getting to Cardiff Airport by road
To get to Cardiff Airport, turn off the M4 for Cardiff West at Junction 33 and take the A4232 dual carriageway, then the A4050 towards Barry.
Cardiff Airport is signposted all the way.
The A4050 has several roundabouts, so look out for those airport signs.
Next, take the A4226, which takes you to the airport, located on the coast near the village of Rhoose.
To approach from western parts of Wales, some prefer to turn off the M4 near Bridgend and take the A48 via Cowbridge.
Then it is turn right down the A4226 just after Bonvilston.
You will find that Cardiff Airport is a relaxed, cosy, friendly, compact airport, with all the modern facilities you need, but without the sprawl, crowds and confusion of larger airports, where there are often long distances to travel within their confines.
